Best place for Chinese food around. My family has been coming here for about 15 years. The food and service is always great, and the portions are generous. I've never had a bad dish. When I come home, I always make sure to eat here. My Favorite Dishes Are: Shrimp Fried Rice (No Bean Sprouts) - This is my all time favorite dish to order. So tasty, so filling, and not overly greasy. Creamy Shrimp - This comes in a wonderful white sauce where it's crispy on the outside while creamy on the inside. The shrimps are cooked perfectly and so amazingly juicy. I wish I could duplicate this dish at home, then I could eat it as often as I want! Come here if you want the best Chinese food ever. Go somewhere else if you want crappy Chinese food. If this place was as bad as some of the reviews are saying, they wouldn't have lasted over the 15 years I've been coming here. Try this place. You'll love it!

The fam and I have been coming to House of Hunan since first moving to FW, more than two years ago. Everything is always good, the staff is friendly and knows us everytime we come in. The rangoons and potstickers are a favorite, as well as the General Tao and anything Kung Pow is excellent as well.

While the staff isn't always the friendliest, the food is good. I've never had anything I didn't like or thought was unclean here.

This horrible. Take a look at the fly I found in my food. I contacted the establishment and the lady was rude. I only got her attention when I mentioned that I would be calling the health department. The only reason why I am writing a review on yelp is becuse people on here actually thought this was a good place to eat. DO NOT EAT HERE. THIS PLACE SHOULDNT be open.

The first server was very unhelpful and abrupt... but then she left and the next one was fine - not overly friendly, but asked multiple times how the food was and brought us cookies in the end. The servings were humungous! It was filling but could have had more variety in flavor. For example, I had garlic chicken which was listed as very spicy, however, it wasn't spicy at all. I would like to try more of the menu for a full assessment.

Sweet and Sour Chicken is good, they actually toss everything in the sauce instead of serving the sauce on the side which I prefer. Also ordered General Tso's. The spice was nice and it didn't have a generic flavor that you find with other places. The dinner combos come with soup option, crab Rangoon, and an egg roll so it really is a complete meal. Now that I have tried the staples of the cuisine I am ready to go back and get more adventurous.

Great place if you want Chinese. Get lots of food for a small price. Hospitality was incredible and you feel like you are in a true Chinese restaurant. If you want great Chinese and don't feel like spending much, you don't have to look any further.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
